I will often meet with a client in their home to see where the new piece is going to be displayed, how it will be used, and how it will match the other furnishings in the space. Your existing furnishings can say a lot about your tastes and I try to incorporate those elements into the new piece.

Remember - this is a custom piece. If you've seen exactly what you want at the mall, then that's what you should buy. Having a piece custom made is more expensive than buying something made at the factory, but a hand made custom piece can become an heirloom to be passed on and a distinct expression of your style. You can be confident that your custom piece will be made with the best materials and finished with the utmost attention to detail. That is not something you're going to get at the mall.
