I've been designing and creating with wood since I received my first set of tools and workbench one Christmas in the 1980's. In the years that have passed, I've refined the art of design, and equipped my workshop with specialized tools allowing me to create everything from small scale models to desks, entertainment centers, storage cabinets, and tables.

Part of what makes my shop special is the attention to detail given to each project. Each design is carefully reviewed, and the best quality woods are selected. Special attention to traditional joinery is also observed, from mortise and tenon to dovetailing. I don't want any project leaving my shop that I wouldn't gladly have in my own home!

Of course, one of the most important aspects of woodworking involves the finishing process. It has become an exacting science. I take pride in each step, from surface preparation to the actual application of stains, lacquers, shellacs, and oils. I make or mix almost all of my finishes in the shop to ensure perfect results.

With special orders, you can specify preferences of woods and finishes. And of course, I am always ready to accept the challenge of making your design a reality.
